If I were to compare this site to any other (and I guess that's more or less my task here) I would have to say it is quite similar to alsscan. The differences as I see them are that alsscan don't like pubic hair while this one don't seem to have any opinion about it, and the alsscan models are generally a bit younger, but not much. The similarities are the type of shoots, softcore mixed with near-bizarre. Both also offer very high technical quality and model-hotness. I'm not here to write about alsscan, but the sites are so similar (although not in any way connected) that I felt it should be mentioned.

Most shoots are softcore: Fully-clothed posing, exposed tits, some ass and pussy pictures, many updates feature public nudity, and masturbation. However there is also a great deal of weird stuff that doesn't normally belong on a softcore site. -I'm afraid I'm giving this a negative tone, please ignore that, it is not my intention!

These are a few of the things you should expect to see, that are rarely found on a site like this with a general softcore style:

• Bizarre insertions: big balls, cucumbers, bottles, fruits, huge dildos and every other imaginable thing.
• Female ejaculations / squirting orgasms: Girls gushing and squirting like waterfalls.
• Fisting: Some lesbian scenes show fisting sequences. I even saw one where it was a very big guys hand inside the little pussy. And Taylor Rain is also here with full anal self-fisting!
• Gaping holes, lactating, speculums, fetishes and so on

One of the funny things about FTV is the creation of this guys personalities: According to the tour the photographer has a background in fashion photography, while the videographer has a background in more hardcore porno. They are in reality the same guy, but it is funny because the videos generally are more hardcore than the pictures.

Updates are served as clickable magazine covers, with 2-5 picture sets and 2-5 video sets of the same model. Each model also has detailed descriptions, measurements and some have interviews and fully clothed shoots. Plus both the model and photographer writes a bit of text for each shoot, so they almost turn into little illustrated erotic stories. That gives a great sense of knowing the model, and I've always felt that that "personal relationship" adds an extra dimension to the pictures and movies. That is what this site is all about.

The FTV-crew makes a point of making natural pictures. They take a strong stand against retouching, filtering and otherwise modifying pictures. It is very common, especially on glamour, softcore and babe-sites. If you don't know what I'm talking about I think this FTV-quote explains it well: "Notice most if not all sites airbrush the Models' faces in their photos till they look plastic? Its become a common trend that is sickening. We dont feel it is erotic to look at a faked image. So 95% of our images are not airbrushed in any way.".

The "First Time Videos" name does not refer to the site being a reality site with a script that says they have to act like virgins. -It simply means although it isn't a rule, most of the models have never posed totally naked in any magazine or on any website before FTV.

Both of the following are from the same people, but are single-girl sites for some of the most popular models from FTV. Unlike many single-girl sites that I've seen these are actually updated frequently, and there is a real contact to the girl... I confirmed that they do receive and answer personal messages!

AlisonAngel:

• This is the website of former FTV-girl Alison. She is a 20 year old naturally busty blonde, and once you see her you won't have any problem understanding why the word "Angel" is part of her domain. If you're not religous you will be once she drops her shirt. All joking aside this is pretty similar to FTV, and as such a seperate description of all the technicalities would be pointless. It's a good site, and it obviously offers you an even more detailed look into the personality of Alison, compared to the girls on the FTV site.
  
  The differences between Alison's site and the main FTV-site are:
  • The update frequency is actually about the same, but obviously the updates are much smaller. I count 98 updates total, and each has videos and pictures.
  • There is a lot of text, including a diary and a forum that Alison participates in personally!
  • There are some extra pictures and videos that weren't made with her site in mind, including holiday pictures, and even some pictures from before she turned 18.... Maybe I should mention that they're non-nude ;)
  • From what I saw this is a bit more softcore than the FTV-site

Lia19:

• Like Alison, Lia started her nude modelling at FTV, and now has her own similar site. She is half italian and half norwegian, but raised in USA. She has bleach-blond hair, medium tits and a firm (looking) ass. -Dark sensual eyes and a sexual energy that glows. She is young looking and cuter than a newborn kitten.
  
  The differences on Lia's site:
  • According to her website, Lia's new shoots are "set up and done entirely by myself"... What exactly that means I don't know, I hardly think she takes the photos herself :)
  • Like Alison's site you get a lot of extra "personality-content", pictures, text and diary, but no forum on this one.
  • There aren't any update-dates, so update frequency is unknown, but the archive holds more than 200 updates already.
  • This is even more softcore than both other sites

Overall the technical aspects of the site are all average or above. The only real complaint I have is the navigation. I don't find it logic, and it takes time to get used to. The sections aren't very well-organized, and it can be difficult to find some of the interesting sections. However once you've got the hang of navigating, and you've learned where to find what you need everything else is great.

Videos are available for download in true 640x480 resolution as 2000+kbps WMV, and also in 352x256 DivX. Both options are above the industry standard, especially the WMV clips which are by far the highest quality I've ever seen on an adult site, in terms of compression and resolution.

All pictures are available in resolutions of 1100x700 and up. Some updates are posted as "super-sized", which means they're taken straight from the camera, and without any editing posted on the site in an outstanding resolution of 3000x2000! -That's enough for photo-quality full-page printing! -Not that I think a lot of people will be doing that, I mention it to give an impression of how extreme this resolution really is...

Older updates aren't the same quality as the newer ones, especially the videos, but I don't let that draw down in this review, simply because even the oldest updates are still good quality by todays standards. This is a good sign that FTV has followed the technological development, and I believe they will continue doing so. At all times their content has been substantially better than the average adult website.

Pictures are available for online viewing and for download as whole sets in .zip format. Movies are split into several smaller clips, and I found the way they're posted a bit annoying actually: They aren't posted as whole scenes, so your only option is to download the small clips (3-10 minutes) individually. Further the file naming makes it difficult to save everything in the same folder, plus it makes it impossible to see which clips go together once downloaded unless you rename one by one.

To end on a positive note, they do have a nice FAQ and help section, should you need it. And if you have any problems still I can testify that their PR-guy is very friendly, and you can count on a fast reply :)

I love the way updates are posted, displayed as a magazine cover. -Not so much because it gives a good overview, but simply because it shows that these guys are putting an effort into the site. The monthly polls that lets you vote for all kinds of things, is another clear sign that they listen to, and care about their members. For example the members were the ones to decide to "up" the quality from 1100 to 2100 kbps. This came up as a poll, even though it was already above the industry's standard!
